#112525, "aem uego into ECU for logging"

i have the aem uego w/b, theres a 0-5 v and a 0-1v output on it, so i was wondering, if i put the 0-1v output (since thats the v range for our o2 sensors i think) on the 2nd 02 sensor (past the cat) if i could then view my w/b reading from the data i get from the ecu via my datalogger. id run a 02 simulator (symtech) on the 2nd 02 inorder not to flip a code correct? has any one done this before if so does it work or do i just need to get a diff wide band? since the 02 sim would be on the 2nd o2 it wouldnt effect my ecu correct? or is there another way to hook up the uego so i can read it on my data logger?

ps, i have no cat back.

You completely misunderstand the point of the 0-1v output in the UEGO.

In a nutshell, no, this won't work. it's a neat idea I guess, but why would you want to log WB02 via an OBD2 datalogger anyway? The sample rate sucks.

Not on an OBD2 datalogger it isn't.

Yeah, some widebands offer datalogging capability. AEM might, i don't know.

The pocket logger uses a Palm PDA.

Want logging? Buy a device that can do it.

befor i buy aother /better w/b. has any one used the aem uego in the ECU?
hooked the white wire (from the aem wb) to the ECU (0-1v)on the o2 imput to mimic nerst cell, and then logged via obd connection to see w/b reading along with rpm and all the other goodies? i think that could work, j/w if any one has tried it with any sucess..

Dude. You're just not getting this.

The 0-1v output isn't a linear wideband signal you can &(^KING LOG!
