#112115, "where to buy parts from"

Ok so I'm definitely DONE dealing with cimotorsports!! Those guys did not give me a single trouble-free transaction over the past year with 4 or 5 different orders and they were not communicative with me at all over anything so screw them. Now however I am running into the problem of finding an alternative source that has even half the selection of 420a parts that they do:(

What i need specifically is the following:
ARP Main Studs
ARP Rod Bolts
ACL Race series bearings (rod + main)

and what I'd REALLY like is just to find a website like CI that has a huge selection of 420a parts for my future ordering needs but obviously that deals a little bit better with customer service than CI does....it took me 2 1/2 months just to get my Tanabe underbrace!
I have tried googling these parts and sadly have no luck so far so I'd really love some good websites to be thrown down here! Thanks

I use a few. Depends on the parts needed. Try partsdinosaur and Modernperformance. I also use extremepsi, Summitt and Race Engineering. I would recommend staying away from SlowBoy now. They have fallen back into their usual problems.

^these are my two favorites. I've never had a problem with either. Neither one is very 420a oriented, but you can find a lot you need at summit and the customer service of extreme is awesome. I'm sure if you were to give them a call they could order you pretty much anything you're looking for even if it's not on their site.

I have to agree with bullet on recommending partsdinosaur. They ship fast and are very professional and the prices aren't that bad. Another vendor you can add to the list of ones to stay away from at all costs is Howell Automotive. emoji

Seriously? ARP? ACL? Summit.

Or call up Motorweb.com. Call them and ask for "Vink." Tell him you know "Driggins" from 2GNT and you need to know how long it will take him to get you XYZ. He'll shoot you straight.

wow im suprised to see all the complaints about CI. i always order from them and the only problem ive had was a lost order for an oil pan gasket. They resolved it quickly. +1 for summit and extreme psi though, both excellent to deal with.

Don't have any other experience other than Howell Automotive. They are the worst people to deal with and the customer service is virtually non-existant. If you want anying in a timely fashion don't call them. They told me 3 moths for my engine, 7 months later it was finally finished.....
