#111945, "Dropping the tank"

Ok, I got a code 442 on my check engine light. They ran a smoke test and told me "there's a hose that runs from my gas tank to the engine that's leaking vapors". Then he tells me he has to drop the tank and parts and labor will be close to $300 bills. I decided I'm better off doing this myself since jolly old St. Nick says ho ho ho on the 300 bills. I'm guessing I might as well replace anything else I find too. I'm still waiting on a manual I ordered and wondered if it's as straight forward as any other tanks from the past? Like no special or stupid tools needed? Any tips greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking and happy holidays!
Paul
