I have a 1995 Eclipse GS. I have a AEM cold air intake, a rear section exhaust. I need some power mods, I need to be faster then a stock 1999 V6 Firebird. So what should I get? Other then NOS or Turbo and I do not have that much to spend. And what do you think about Unorthodox Racing Underdrive Pulleys Summit Racing said that they add up to 37 horses at the wheels. And does anyone make a performance throttle body for a GS? Please help me and reply a.s.a.p. Thank You.

The day i believe any "advertised" gains from a magazine is the day they haul me to the loony bin and don't let me out.
Get the AFX underdrive pulley from howellautomotive.com - it has dyno proven gains of 11-15HP. They have an AFX 55mm throttle body, too.

I'd say get that underdrive pulley, and look into getting your intake manifold polished/ported/extrude honed whatever you can get done to it (it needs some help). Don't worry about a header, not worth it right now.
Also, get some RS alloy rims and tires for real cheap (bad in corners, good in a straight line, trust me on this one)
That should help. I'd say I can take a stock firebird so if you get that done, with a manual tranny you'll be all set. Hell, you might be able to do it with just the UD pulley and what you've already got.
