I would like to know if anybody with the AFX or other name brand UDP, has had any problems related to having this mod. I've read about those having the squeaky belts, but what about problems with the electrical or anything like that. Any drained batteries or those with your boomen systems had any problems? Thanx

I got NO PROBLEMS so far since I've put it on / 3 months.



UFO

I have had mine on for about 6 months or so. No power problems but now my belts are starting to squeek. My "performance shop" said that it was my idler pulley. When I took my car to satan for the ball joint recall, they said it was just the belts. They charged me $40 for a belt tightening and it worked for a day. Then the squeeking came back. It comes and goes, so I am just going to deal with it. But the performance gain is worth the slight squeeking. IMO.

thats a good question.. have any of the big system guys had any battery probs, with the UDP? just something that would be nice to know b/c i am running a decent amount of juice of my die hard. thoughts or comments?

my a/c and ps belt fell off all the time whenever I'd hit it above 6k rpms. squeaked too. I took off that belt and bought one that was about an inch and a half shorter. I can tighten down the tensioner now, and it doesn't squeak anymore....or fall of

So koolade9, what are the specs on that belt and where did you get it at? So obviously the belts that came with the UDP,were in your case, not small enuf?

it may go back to the whole 95' thing... but yeah, it was too short. the belt I bought was a Dayco belt. #5050490
