you can always just plug the hole.. i think you can find a brass plug in a plumbing dept at a home depot or whats not.. i cant remember the size off-hand though..

just buy an after market oil pressure gauge, and use that sending unit to plug the hole.

well plugging the hole and not having an oil leak would be a good start... also cheaper than having to get a new sender which is only a switch to tell you when you have very low oil pressure which is when it triggers the light on the dash...

Well yah i know the Dash light activated by the OPSU is the "oh shit" light since once it comes on you are screwed

But i just had a weird thought....since we share the block with the 2.0 neon dohc ....should their Opsu fit? i think it would emoji

BTW dohc neon OPSU is 6.99 at autozone...i should just buy and install

You'll have to match up the thread size and connector size. A switch from a '90s Dodge truck will work. I bought mine for $38 from Advance Auto. I broke my stock switch and couldn't find a replacement. So, I just found a switch that fit. I'd probably just plug the hole with a brass 3/8" NPT plug (use some teflon paste). The stock oil pressure switch is not very useful. You won't get a CEL if you plug the hole and toss the switch.

I do not see a reason why you would get a CEL anyway since the OPSU is not something the ECU looks at. Al it does is switch current to the Dummy light in the dash.
