#110643, "head modifications"

I was working on my 95 rs earlier and realized that the spark plugs are on top. I just got it not too long ago so its not like ive owned it for awhile and just realized where the plugs were. So anyway I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who has hemi'd there engine, or if it was even possible.

Actually, there is a guy named thedawg, he made a Hemi Head swap kit.

It was kind of expensive, but worth it.

Of you PM him he may sell you the plans for cheap.

I dont think the original poster truely understands a hemi design. If he did he would understand that making our CC larger would only make things worse.

The Hemi-sperical design was an improvement over the closed and open "heart" shaped Combustion champers.

90% of people dont understand why a Hemi was keyed as a better motor. Heads were only 50% of the benefit. Hell people today just think Hemi is better but cant tell you why....kinda funny really

Thats kinda unrelated to a Hemi though. The Hemi's back in the 50-70's never had 2 plugs. In fact that concept was first done in closed chamber heads. Its a very common concept in some high performance Harley heads and Alcohol heads. It would be extremely hard if not impossible to do with a hemi head due to the spark plug well design.

Dual plugs has nothing to do with a hemi-sperical combustion chamber. I think he got the concepts confused together.
