#110097, "FAL 220 thickness"

I was reading some website and it said the FAL-220 Fans were 2.75" thick and about 15" tall, what I need to know is if its 2.75 all the way down because once I get about 11" down my room in there drops to about 1.5" and obviously I dont want to pay for something that isnt gonna fit for me, anyone with the FAL-220 that can measure the bottom 5 or so inches of it for me it would be greatly appreciated

I have the 220. I can go measure it. I can tell you that from top down, it tapers out with the widest part being the fan motor covers, and then it tapers back in to the edge. I'll post back with some measurements.

Okay, I have some measurements. As you can see in the picture, the plate that covers the fan motor is the thickest part at 2-3/4". The bottom of that plate is 10-1/2" down from the top edge. The rings that make up the fan grill are 2-5/32" off the radiator. So with your space constraints, and the depth of those rings, you won't make it. Depending on how much space you need, you could trim away those rings to accommodate your setup. The flat part of the housing is 1" thick, so there you should be good. Just to let you know, my setup uses a radiator from radiatorbarn.com which is 1-5/16" thick.

I don't believe so. When I pulled the stocker, it looked thinner than the one I have now. Maybe someone else can chime in with the stock measurements.
