#110008, "antifreeze cap"

so i just sold my eclipse and bought a truck but this is the place i can count on for advice.. so if anyone can help. i have an 01 dodge ram and today i was going to add antifreeze because the over flow was empty and there was some gunk on the radior cap. and on the bottom of the overflow. the antifreeze was green and i checked the oil and it looks good and not milky. someone told me i may have bubbles in the system. but it doesnt warm up either it goes up and down... and when i told the cap off after driving there was no sound of air excaping? no pressure? mabey the cap it self?

any help would be great

A new cap is cheap. Go ahead and buy a new one. When was the last time the system was flushed? It would not hurt to drain the system, clean the hell out of the overflow tank, back flush the cooling system and refill.
