#109906, "TPS sensor code?"

I keep thowing a TPS sensor code( don't remember what code # I have to look) every time I WOT it. It's a built block running AEM FIC for fuel and timing. If I drive around with out WOT the car it don't pop the code. I have check the sensor out and the volts are in spec.

check resistance as the sensor is slowly opened to WOT. most likely you have a short and when you go WOT the ECU picks it up.

I checked the sensor out it is good. The code is 0121 tps sensor. What could be the cause of this happening. It only throws the code in wot and in boost. The code is a soft code because you can restart the car and it is not there. when the code pops the car starts misfiring and surges. I need help a lot more now because its my only car, cents my wife total my jeep.

if your FIC taps the TPS sensor for signal, that's your problem.

I ajusted the map clamp voltage from 4.6 to 4.45 and the tps code seems not to be coming back. Why would this mess with the tps sensor?

They uise the same common ground and the same 5v Vref, iirc. Could have been noise on the circuit.
