you guys are gonna love this one!!
in the true spitit of modifying a DSM i finally messed up major!
i figured that with the shootout coming up, the gods must have seen all the 2GNT's massing and said "well we cant let this happen" so they decided to break a few of us.

well this started with me getting gas and the local station had put up some curbs around their underground tank fill ports. these werent marked with yellow or anything and are right in the path to get to the center gas pumps.
so here i come crusing in at a good clip and recognised the curbs at the very last minute. as i slam on the brakes and ramp the curb i came to a stop and heard this awful "WAMM" and the exhaust got louder.

well i had fracturd my HKS exhaust right after the cat flange and it was hanging by a thread, it seperated before i could make it home.
now in need of a cheep exhaust to get me by i turned to Ebay for a Tsudo N1.
Good price, good reputation, eh why not. hmmm gsx or gst? well i looked at a few posts about things and saw someone say "eh the only difference is that the gsx goes under the axle" well that sounds cool for a 3" exhaust.
click buy it now!

Time now for the end all post on how to get a GSX exhaust to fit!!!
THEY DONT WITHOUT MODIFICATION AND FABRICATION!
a. they are shorter then ours post cat
b. they have a funny flange angle
c. WAY low! 2 d-cell mag light barely clears. (ie now 2"-2.5" ground clearence)
in the end i had to remove the cat and add a 24" test pipe to span the gap, plus i had to weld the new flang at a crazy angle to get it to fit.
in the end it works, but it is now for sale lol (incoming FS post lol)

and now for your viewing pleasure. . . foggy gets BANME!

hahah a true DSM repair wouldn't be complete without bailing wire on somthing!!

lol ironically its just the rear hanger, its actually held up by the primary ones just to the rear of the canister, but this kept it from rotating down any more then it does emoji

Fuck, you should have asked, we all could have told you that wont work. Good job making it fit, really nice work. The GSX has Saddle tanks and the exhaust runs right through them.

Sorry man, at least it is driveable. I would have gotten a police report and at least filed it with your insurance. Those curbs have to be painted by law. Thats what my old boss always told me (Shell Corp).

lol i thought of that, but i had just settled my claim from getting read ended last fall. (love "pain and suffering" payouts) and i figured it wasent worth it on a 6 year old exhaust.

oh and btw, the F@#% curbs are bright and yellow now! they painted them last week.
