now the engine wasn't really knocking bad at all, only at 2500 rpm's and wasn't aggressive, i checked the crank journal and it look fine, i think i can get away with just replacing it...what you guys think?

I'd say 90% chance Dino's right on that one. it's not the worst I've seen but you really need to check if things are out of round. our cranks don't do well after a bearing spins.

well, my machinist friend came over and he looked at it and said that it's fine, i mean i had JUST caught it, i started the car and it started to knock at 2500 and it was light...so i just put a new one in and its running great, hopefully im in that 10%tile that it would work...
