I came accross a site a few days ago where for $100 shipped, I send them my TB and they send me back one (not sure if the same one) bored to 55mm, cleaned, beadblasted. They said they would also test the sensors if you leave them in when you send it. The site is www.throttlebodys.com
I was wondering what kind of gains I would get from a 55mm with my current mods. And also if it would affect anything such as idle or gas milage. I would think gas milage would go down some but Im not totally sure. Has anyone dealt with this company before?

Great guy to deal with. He's the one that bored my throttle body. Yes, you will get your original throttle body sent back to you with the work performed to it. He's really quick on the turn around time as well.

Hmm yes more power is good. I just cant decide if I want to do this now, and give it a try at the track, or wait until I get a winter beater car and build up my car a little over winter.

What is the stock TB size? Is it 49 or 52? I was thinking if its 49 it would be worth it to get it bored, but if its 52 it would probably be better to get a 60mm

Stock is 52mm. Also take into account that the stock tb has a big hump in the center of it. I don't know what the size opening is in the center where the hump is but it's less than 52mm. Very restrictive.
The 55mm is all of the way through. The hump is removed.

I am pretty sure the stock tapers down to 49mm not too sure. I do know that the MP60mm throttlebody is awesome. Kind of pricey but very worth it to me.

I'd go for the Jeep TB, you can find them at junkyards for $5-10 and with a little work you've got a 55-60mm depending on what year you snag it from
the stock is 52mm that necks down to 49mm
