I go to give it has and it struggles some times but doesnt happen all the time. It makes a misfire sound but not sure.

I put NGK irediums in it not to long ago but the guy that put them in didnt even tighten them so could that foul them

Check your plugs? are any of them fouled?

There's your problem right there. put copper plugs in. our cars hate the irridiums.

You can tell it is misfire because your check engine light will flash.

Built block.
Refinished head.
Tuned suspension.

Im not too sure that the CEL flashes when there is misfire.

At least mine did not...

And yes, switch to regular coppers. I always liked the Champions best.

The CEL will flash when there is a misfire but only if it damaging the catalytic converter, so if you have a small misfire it might not blink. I always stick with the NGK's BKR6E is the stock heat range. If you are boosting or spraying go with BKR7E one range colder plugs. And imo copper is better plug to use, but thats just my opinion.

I've never had a set of the ngk's go bad, I always just changed them at the proper interval.
