I think you may need to reword your question. And anything that helps your engine breath easier will give you more power if you can supply the proper amounts of fuel. An intake may not give massive gains in power, but there will be some improvement. Think about trying some other suporting mods that will help utilize the intake, like a header, exhaust, ect.

if you're talking about a little breather filter on the valve cover inlet, no. it'll do absolutely nothing.

All they do is prevent oil from getting sucked into the intake before the TB if your PCV gets plugged. then they mist oil all over your engine bay.
Get a catch can, they work much better.
