Took the Car out the other day to eat, got home and seen a puddle of Antifreeze in the garage, also, the temp was almost at the top.
Huge crack in the Upper Radiator Hose, Replaced it, and started to get a sort of whistling noise, sounded like loose belts, but it wasn't coming from them.
The Hose is on fine, and is inflated all the way while the car is running, but the temp is still getting pretty high. When I'm driving, it stays slightly below half way, which is normal for my car, but as soon as I put it in Park, the temp starts to rise, then as soon as I give it gas or drive away, it goes back down.
Anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be?
I was thinking something like, the radiator might've been bone dry at one point after losing all the coolant, and now it's just taking time to circulate again?

check to make sure your fans are working if your temp gauge goes up when stopped and starts to go down once you begin driving. Also, make sure there's no air in the system.

Replace your thermostat and radiator cap.

I am leaning towards air in the system I have had a few cars do this, But I also have had a car do that and then replaces the cap and thermostat and that fixed it. make sure when you replace your thermostat and cap you leave the cap off fill the radiator, start the car let the antifreeze suck into the system, then keep filling it until the temp is normal and the fans kick on and it doesnt suck antifreeze in anymore that will more than likely fix the problem.

now you said there was antifreeze on the floor and you had a cracked hose? Did you replace the hose?

I replaced the Hose, and filled the Radiator to the neck, thermo is working, and the resivour?? Is full. Seems to be holding fine now, maybe it took a bit to circulate. Hopefully it stays fine.
