So my 1997 Eagle Talon ESI ( Manual ) overheated yesterday, stalling itself. Then it wouldnt turn over. I let it sit over night thinking if i let it cool down that it would be fine. Went back today and will still not turn over. When im starting it, It sounds normal like the engine is not seized i can turned the crank pully by hand. I can hear everything moving inside the engine. Its turning and turning but just wont catch. Any ideas?

Do you have spark? How bad did it overheat? Could have blown the head gasket, time to do a compression test if you have spark! emoji

I have spark, someone else told me it could be something to do with fuel...What would be a tell tale sign for blown head gasket

Do a compression test, if the numbers are very different from cyl to cyl or below 150 then you need some work done. you can pull the fuel feed line and see if fuel comes out when you prime the pump.check your oil and coolant and look for either of them mixing in the other. Good compression numbers are around 180

The fuel pump is working cause when i turn the key into the on position i can hear the fuel pump humming in the gas tank. Now when the car over heated it like turned itself off...like it stalled. Is there an over heat safety or something?

No, there is no saftey for overheating, you could have blown your headgasket. You need to do a compression test, you can rent one from Autozone, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. When you get done let us know the numbers.
