So if you havent know or seen any of my posts. Bought the car end of october, broke it in middle november, removed engine and sent it to a shop in febuary, and now got it back on monday woah. nice of the guy to paint it for us. heres pics of my status as the long/patient engine drop begins.

day 1
Just lifted it out of the trunk then put it on the engine stand, too late at night to do anything.

day 2
Assembled the timing belt, tensioner, cam gears, water pump and oil pump. Put the oil pan on and the valve cover and coil pack. now my dad realized he put the tensioner on backwards -.-. so we have to take it off tomorow but since i ordered adjut. cam gears today we are going to wait for them yay. fun process and im enjoying it alot. more pics.

feel free to comment or point out any suspicious things lol.

Car Status: P0140 o2 circuit number bank 1 sensor 2 Cel. Ill fix it tomorow lol.

Estimated mileage on engine: 15,xxx

lol thanks. im thinking of that too since im already waiting for the dam cam gears and clutch. so day 3?

worked on it from like 1130-430. We are kinda taking our time and making sure we do this right and all the runs to the auto shop and ace hardware also cut into that time. My dad mostly figited with the tensioner he put on backwards. took like half the day but we got it off and put on right. Put on the exhaust mani, intake mani, alternator, and some other miscellanious parts. its looking good and we are cruising. we are pretty much almost done for what we can do without the gears and the clutch. also got into painting a little. im repainting my ic piping and i repainted some coolant hose that runs across the front of the engine. looks alot better then it did before. heres some more pics. excuse the lazyness of leaving crap on the engine lol.

Oh ya and the red thats kinda on the intake mani, my dad was painting a part for his motorcycle awhile ago and got some on it. oh well

Pull the valve cover and the intake mani and get them powdercoated. Something nice and shiny and chrome-like for the intake and gloss black for the VC and it'll look sweet. otherwise looks good. I'm assuming built block?

I think I see the 12 point arp rod bolts that come with the eagle rods so I think its built. Is that stock head bolts I see too? Looks good, it seems like yesterday I saw that in my engine too.

I would have rawed it and polished it. Your bov reminds me of a fire hydrant.

All that work and no smoothing on the exhaust ports? 2 days max with a die grinder.

I had no idea how restrictive those ports were until i actually saw them for myself in person.

Goodnight sweetheart...yes its time to go...bum bum bum bum bum...good night sweetheart yes I am one little a$$hole......bum bum bum bum....

Looks like he got the long block pre-assembled. to work the exhaust he'd need to remove the head and disassemble it first emoji

Not necessarilly. I've done port and polish with the engine installed. Not as accurate, but helpful.
