#109096, "quieter exhaust?"

Currently I have the N1 style 2.5" exhaust. I'm also turbo and looking to upgrade to 3" soon. The N1 isn't TOO loud, but it does get a little annoying at times and I was wondering if there's anything better out there in terms of sound. I was looking at maybe the EVO or the SP2? Would those be quieter compared to an N1 exhaust? If you guys have any suggestions that would be great. Thanks

I have heard people say that the greddy evo2 are quiet, and that when you step on it they sound really nice...

I wish I had blown it, believe me, I do...

Greddy EVO exhausts are nicely quiet while still giving off a deep mean tone.

Magnaflow Exhausts are very nice too.

for supreme Quiet with performance, go for a custom 3" system with the longest possible resonator you can find, a quality high flow cat, and a magnaflow muffler would be my recommendation. I just helped a friend with his 240 and with that setup you can barely tell the car is running at idle. it's only slightly louder than stock but it pulls so much nicer and sounds smooth and deep at higher rpms.

The N1 is a nice (and popular) muffler, but it is still a bullet-style muffler. By it's very nature, it's going to be louder than something like an SP2 or Evo2. I had a used Evo and ended up selling it to someone. Installed on his car, it sounded fabulous. Nice and deep.

For a quieter exhaust, look for a larger muffler body relative to piping size.

I have the evo2. I love how it sounds at low rpm, But sense I have no cat, at high rpm like 3k, It can get kind noisey on the highway.
