#108844, "anyone have a free tensioner pully bolt?"

The timing belt let loose on me a week or so ago, finally got everything taken apart. found out the culprit was that bolt holding the tensioner pully on(holds the pully assembly to the block itself). it was snapped. thankfully it came out before it fell completely apart. sadly, autoparts stores dont have one. just wondering if someone had one they could send me. i'd really appreciate it.

** Current status: 9 bent valves. and it only had 6,000 miles on it. i hope the replacement goes well. **

Lots of expensive parts, and still slow! Oh wait, it has to run to go fast.

heh... im looking for a bolt for my p/s belt right now, si feel your pain man. i converted over to a mechanical tensioner last fall and i still have all the bolts and brackets for the hydraulic tensioner so i can probably help you out. find a diagram of the tensioner system and use windows paint or something and draw an arrow to the bolt thats broken and send it to me so i can see if ive got the bolt. if its one of the long motor mount bolts, i cant help you out there cause i need them, but ive got the one that bolts the tensioner pulley to the bracket and the bolt that the bracket pivots on.

For anyone who was wondering, yes my user name is a joke.
