I am pulling the motor/trans assembly. I would like to rebuild the motor with factory specs, and drop in a fresh motor trans assembly. Does anyone know who sells a overhaul kit for us? I checked advanced and autozone?

A Mitsubishi dealership. They are around $2 per bolt. If you don't have a local Mitsu dealership, go to a Dodge dealership and order them for a 95-99 Dodge Avenger or Dodge Neon.

Bruce (The Parts Dinosaur) is such an upstanding gent, he deserves a bump. Get as much as you can from PD and step away from the door. His prices are great and his service is near impossible to beat. My only complaint is that I live less than 30 minutes away and he doesn't allow pick up. Even so, he's got pretty much all of it.

If there is nothing wrong with your stock pistons, just get a new set of rings and doa good job cleaning the pistons up. Reduce, re-use, recycle, imo.
