Is it possible to completely remove / bypass the entire heating system and remove all its components? I know it is tied in with the coolant system, but could I bypass it and would this lead to any problems?
I live in florida and I just dont need a heater, the mess of the heater hoses, and all of its components in my car.
Any help would be appreciated. Past experiances or if you could even direct me to some one else. Thanks.

your going to lose A/C.
If you want to keep A/C but just want to get rid of the heater functionality then just bypass the heater core. run a hose from the thermostat housing to the inlet pipe and take the heater hose pipes off the motor.
The heater controls you would need to keep for A/C.
