I have a 97 Eclipse GS w/ 420a Engine.

My fuel System is returnless... So my FPR is next to the tank.


I need info about changing the fuelrail to something that has a FPR on the rail. and convert my Fuel System to have a return.

I have already purchased:

Turbo Kit (T3/T4, external racegate, intercooler kit, Oil Kit, BOV, etc.)
Apexi SAFC Neo
450cc injectors (I will drop the Duty Cycle) Want room for upgrades.
SFMU (Or what ever its called)
Fuelpump walbro 255 Hi press
SS Lines for Press and return (w/ an endings)
Adapters for a Fuel Press sensor
I got more, Just dont remember it all.


Only thing that stops me is the fuel system. I do not want to be like some kids that blow up there car after a kit due to fuel starvation.
I know a kid that just killed a 07 Civic with a K20... Depressing.


If anyone here knows of a direct fit or an aftermarker Fuel rail that I can use please let me know. I was thinking that a 95 420a Eclipse should have a return type fuel system. Maybe that fuel rail will fit the car.

I will NOT install the TURBO till i have the fuel worked out. Please help me with the FuelRail.

Custom Rail sounds good. I will search a little more. Just to make sure I didnt miss anything else. This will stop me from asking more stupid questions...

You only have a couple options for a fuel setup like that.

1. Forget having the regulator on the rail unless you go with a 95 regulator setup. Cons: high flow pump can over run the regulator.

2. Take your fuel rail and have fittings welded on the ends of it and run the outlet to a regulator and add a return line.

3. Custom rail with an in and out. There is a member here who makes them by order only. I think the wait was usually like a week or two. Search custom fuel rail in the Performance section.

4. make your own.
