i found the spun bearing it was in cylinder 4 but there is a very small scratch on the crank.. now im stuck what should i do know try to sand it out with emery cloth or what. i dono im stumpped emoji

not emory cloth, WAY too rough

the big problem is what happened to the material that left the bearing surface? usually the filter cannot get rid of all of it, and it ends up getting sprayed onto the cams and lifters.
if that happens then its acting just like sand paper to those cam surfaces and the rest of the bearigns in the engine.

cut your oil filter open and see how much metal shavings you find in there. if its a lot i wouldnt risk the engine, id tear it down and rebuild it.
if the filter has a few shavings or flakes then you *may* be able to get away with just polishing the 4th cylinder.

personally id drop the crank out and have the whole thing polished and mic'ed back to spec

You cant just try to polish it by hand. Emry cloth and oil will polish out marks, its not to rough if done right but your going to have a low spot on the journal which will lead to another spun bearing.
