#107160, "Ebay engine kit"

Does anyone have any faith in this kit. I was considering using this kit in conjunction with my new je piston/eagle rod kit. I just didn't want to replace all of the seals/gaskets individually. I wouldn't even consider using the headbolts or timing belt, and obviously not the pistons or rings. But would it be worth it for the rest of the kit if I could sell the leftover parts to get some of my money back.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance.

i dont know if i would trust the oil or water pump. There really not that expencive from a name brand, and i would concider going with something well known. Its something that could save you alot of work and money in the future.

Thank you mobil one for rust proofing my driveway.

If you're messing with the motors internals I don't think Ebay is the best choice. Since you know IT IS Ebay. Just save your money and buy something that you know can be trusted. Im sure you won't regret it.

Thanks guys, That's what I figured. I just thought since ebay does have some good stuff for cheap that someone might have used this kit and could give me some input. I guess I will have to order all my parts from napa or something. Anyone have any other suggestions as far as the most complete engine kit with out pistons or rings?

Honestly, Don't judge just because its from ebay... eBay has nothing to do with the product, the shipping, the quality, nothing, except providing a place for sellers to meet buyers. PartsDinosaur, one of the vendors that most everyone here trusts whole-heartedly sells over 80% of his wares on ebay...

You need to be more concerned with the products being sold, and the reputation of the seller. Who gives a fuck where you make the deal, as long as you are getting quality parts.

How many companies do you think actually produce and market oil pumps and water pumps for our platform? (*Hint- a lot less than you might think!) Ask for brands, part #'s from the seller and see what you get.
