This past weekend did the timing belt and tensioner and idler pulley. Well the tensioner pulley was no longer a pulley rather it was two seperate peices it had basicly blown itself apart. Also the belt had cuts in it in two spots that you could actualy see through it. I am guessing I had a few miles left before the whole engine blew. Guesse I am just realy lucky

did you do the change yourself? or pay a shop? Cause my friend is comming up on time to change his and he's debating on us doing it or taking it to the shop. So if you did yours you can give some pointers.

I did it myself. I found it to rather easy just very time consuming. You have to jack the engine up and down many times and stuff like that. Print out the vfaq and also the write up the guy on this bored did (can't remember his name but the link is in his sig). Make sure you have all the tools and an air gun helps alot when taking off the crank pulley.
