#106926, "car stalls when clutch is in every time!"
I just got some new Crower2's back straight from the factory after a long month of communications because the vender I dealt with sent me the wrong cams to begin with so my engine wouldn't start so the car started up for the first time in 4 months today...which was awesome! However after driving it I quickly discovered it needs some TLC still...every time I push the clutch in for more than a second or two the engine stalls and I lose power steering right away (happened in the middle of a turn while down shifting even, that was scary!). My mechanic also noted that the exhaust smells very rich - surprise, surprise with these cams right...he also said he thinks the fuel map curve needs to be readjusted to accomodate these cams but, having no forewarning about that through Crower, I have no idea if that's true or not.
Well anyways I did some searching around the forum and came up empty-handed so does this problem sound familiar to any of you? What can we try that may fix it? thanks!
