what should I gap my plugs at? I have boush platinum plugs. My mods are aem cai, greddy header and evo cat if it makes any difference

i use the ngk 5e 11's and i gapp them at .48. my engine is basically stock.. i have a iceman and magnecore wires.

when i went to kragen, I asked for these bosch platinum plugs. They didn't ask me if I wanted a colder or hotter plug, and the truth is I wouldn't know what to get anyways. well I gapped them just a little over .050, but its idling pretty bad and I thought I gapped it too much, but .050 is close to .048 so my assumption is that it is something else making it idle bad, should I go with a shorter gap?

kragen usually give you the stock plug, not unless you ask for hotter or colder plugs. Also, I just cleaned my TB and Manifold couple of days ago and my idling improve greatly. You might look into that if you haven't recently clean it.

I think platinum plugs need a smaller gap than standard copper plugs. That might be why your idle is bad. Try 0.040".

i use the 5e-11's too and i don't gap i just pop them in outta the box. pulls mad hard
