maybe want to check that your Cam Gears are lined up correctly - it won't idle/run very well at all and your yellow Check Engine light will be on for the code Cam Position signal not matching Crank Position signal.

Yeah, follow the advice above. You need to figure out what code is being thrown and go from there.

The small piece you need is the sun visor retaining clip, it is a common dodge/chrysler part found on the neon, avenger, talon, eclipse, etc.

if the head was just worked on, my guess would be that one or both of your camshafts is 180 degrees out of phase. this is a very common problem with our cars and most of us that have done a timing job on our engines have made this mistake. find out what the code is to be sure first.

The two marks must be next to each other. Like this --> <--

Also, the cam gears will say "2.0L FRONT" If set up correctly, one of them will read correct, the other will be upside-down.

I can post pictures tonight if that will help.

Good resolution? Haha. I wish. This was the best I could do tonight.

You won't be able to see the dowel locators on your gears because the bolts will be in place, but look at the gear on the left. Notice how it says "2.0L FRONT." If installed properly, the other gear will have this up-side-down (inverted).

If you are still unsure, remove the valve cover and inspect the camshafts. When aligned properly, they will each have a hole sticking up, shown here by the green dots.

Hope this helps.

EDIT:
