#106482, "question about the cam / crank sensor..."
I'm trying to figure out which sensor can cause my engine to lose spark but not fuel. If I drive it long enough the engine will have a hard time staying on. Also if I go under the hood and pull on the main wiring harness on the drivers side, the engine will kill itself. When this happens it keeps dumping fuel into the motor, but no spark.
I'm in the process of getting a new wiring harness for the motor, to see if that fixes it. I also have an extra coil pack. Basically if it's not the wiring harness what else could it be?

I believe either of them will just kill the spark, but i could be wrong.

Agree with you, Erik.
Had same problem some years ago. Just had to replace both and problems disappeared. Measuring the sensors could not show any problem, but it could just be out of timing slightly to cause these problems. Worth replacing both, they're not that expensive.
