which would be cheaper/better gettin mandrel bent pipes from JC Whitney and getting a muffler shop to make your exhaust out of that or just getting the pacesetter cat back and using that??

Unless you know someone at the shop to kook you up, I would just get the pacesetter. Check to see the price of what they would charge for a custom bent mandrel cat-back, as it might be cheaper to just have them make it for you with their material, depending on the shop. I was quoted 165 to have a cat-back done in 2.5". Might be worth a shot.

I dont think you'll get any cheaper than $150 for 2.5" piping. Then you can use whatever muffler you want.
