Hello, my a/c belt squeakz like crazy. im missing my a/c belt bolt tensioner, and i dont want to pay $100+ for the entire kit. first time i got a new belt i tighten up with no bolt, (just like my 96 rs that comes with no bolt) it lasted a month. this time i got a smaller belt and it fits perfect. its not lose at all. and it is probably as tight as the regular size with a bolt. but it start to squeak again. is there a way to keep my belt for more than 2 weeks without the bolt, i dont want to buy the entire pulley kit, or do i need to?. pulleys look fine to me and i just did a timing belt job. how do you know if your pulleys are bad or what might be causing this?,. if someone's been through this please help me out. thanks and sorry for long post..

did you adjust the tension after the belt was on for a while and had a chance to stretch? really you need to get the bolt for the tensioner. if you post in ForSale/BST section, somebody will have one you can get for cheap.
