Im working on my old car, (which i have sold). Its a 95 GS with a custom turbo kit, vortech sfmu, Crower stage3 cams, AEM cam gears, 440cc injectors. I just recently installed 8.8:1 pistons. The engine is in now, and i lined up the holes in the camshafts so they were both up (like i read)....it didnt start. I did some more research and found that the crower cams dont match up with stock with the holes. I had a spare head with stock cams/gears. I lined up the cams and timing perfect. I am 99.99% sure that the timing is good now. I get spark fine, I have good compression (except #2 which i think i tweaked a valve when the cams were 180 degrees out) It should still start with low compression in #2 (70psi) I had changed the crank sensor with a new one (also had to change wire harness). If i disconnect the crank sensor, it doesnt spark. Same with the cam sensor. I have the exhaust manifold and intake manifold connected up and thats it...i didnt connect up everything else just incase i need to pull the head again. I mention this because i cannot smell fuel, it cranks and cranks and i smell no fuel. If it wasnt starting, and the manifold was open, there should be a strong fuel smell. The fuel pump is running fine (warlbro 255)....What else triggers the fuel injectors??? Im stumped other than the ECU, but i wouldnt think it would get spark...and it ran when i parked it and pulled the engine out. Anyone?? thanks

The cam sensor controls injector order and firing. The ASD relay will also prevent the injectors from being energized.

i tried swapping crank and cam...nothing. I figured the ASD relay was fine since the fuel pump was working fine??? those relays are burried in this car under the fuel regulator. Ill try to dig them out. Anything else? thanks
