I wanted to know if anyone can explain exactly how to do this the easiest way possible.

Simple, remove the mount and the inserts just push into the factory mount.

unbolt mount from car, remove from car. inspect mount, make sure there are no major cracks or complete splits. if bad replace, if good, spray liberally with silicon spray lube to condition the rubber and ease insertion of the mount filler. insert mount filler piece. reinstall mount to car.

it helps to put a jack under the trans to take the tension off the bolts, and remove the batttery and intake piping for easier access.
