i just rebuilt my engine. it is a 2.2 with je 40 over pistons and total seal rings. i have put abought 35 miles on the new rebuild and it just smokes bad. comp numbers are , 190 200 190 190. what could cause it to smoke so bad?

384hp and 344tq that is all....

You forgot to install the oil ring spacers that are integral to the piston used with a 2.2L stroker. Take it all back apart.

spacer? would that be the oil ring support rails that came with the pistons?

Either that or you didn't go thru the proper process of seating the rings yet. Mine smoked like a chimney until I seated the rings, after that the smoke screen was gone.
