Well I stretched out 4th gear in my stock tranny so I replaced it with the 3.55 tranny. Those with this swap, can you tell me if there is a slight whine in the gears? I've heard trannys with straight cut gears and they whine really loud. This is very faint and was wondering if its normal for this tranny. I know these trannys are suppose to be stronger and didn't know to what degree the gears differ from one another.
I didn't know if this difference would equate in a slight whining or not.

You're fine. Don't worry about it.

Its just an ever so slight whine...nothing too loud or anything. I am not worried about it now as it does seem to be normal and probably due to the difference in the gears themselves.
I love the tranny a lot. I also found an RS throttle Cable at the junkyard so I finally got to remove my CC unit. Looks 10x's cleaner now.
