I 've done some reading but havnt found why we set our pressure at 5 in 5 out or 6 in 6 out ect. What am i attempting to achive by adjusting the pressure settings?

Basically 6 in and 5 out seems smooth for my car as well as 6 in 7 out. but whats the difference? as far as what the wideband reads making changes has a drastic affect at idle.

So how do i properly check what setting is good for mine? I read somewhere that when the car is not running you adjust the in/out to achieve a 0 pressure reading? is this correct?


I just dont get this in/out thing?
