hey dudes i need some help, when i start my car up everything is fine, but there is one thing that has me thinking, there is this wwsshhhh! sound coming out of the engine compartment, and it doesnt mater if its cold or warm, its always making that sound. it kinda sounds as if air is escaping somewhere. my dad and i checked to see if there was any messed up hose or something, but we couldnt find anything. the sound isnt affecting the car, but i just wanna know what it may be so that i can fix it, its starting to get anoying.

maybe its your intake? check to see if you have a filter in there

It sounds like a vacumn leak. Did you do any recent adjustments to any intake components? Check for dryrotted vacumn hoses or loose connections.

Also Check your EGR i remember mine was making a strange noise like that when it had a crack in the stock Vacuum line
