#103224, "Stainless line selection options." Feb-25-07 02:27 AM by foggy45
i know that standard SS lines are very popular and versatile for fuel / oil / brake lines, however i rcently decided to drop a grip and go all out to make my car the way i want, an AN stuff is easier to work with.
i'd like to going with Aeroquip stuff since i get a bit of a discount, and there local.
i noticed the Starlite (black kevlar nomex braid) line as an alternative to the standard bright SS-braided stuff. it looks cool and keeps nice clean look, plus the Kevlar increases the abrasion resistance and i dont have to kill my fingertips to put fittings on.
anybody use this type of "alternative" line? (for non-High pressure applications) disadvantages? opinions?
