#102680, "Need help after head rebuild"

Alright I had a my head port and polished, put crower stage 2's with AEM gears. I started it up for a minute or so yesterday and it was running rough, but nothing was leaking, so I let it sit the night because it was getting late. I went to start it today and got it started and ran smooth for maybe 30 sec the shut off and I had to blow air into the TB to start it, plus coolent started to leak along with alittle bit of oil. You think it is a headgasket or what, need help fast.

Well, where is the coolant and oil leaking from?

Your going to have a rough idle probably due to the cams.

Did you prep your head, clean it, and spray it with copper gasket spray? You have to be really tedious when reinstalling the headgasket because if its not right it WILL leak. But you could have a line leak somewhere.

Hmm never heard of anyone blowing air into into the tb to start it.. maybe adjust the idle up a tad bit, it seems everyone always has a leaky engine when its first put together, thats DSM for ya
