if your talking about the premuffler, they sure do come with one. if you don't mind me asking, what muffler are you putting on?

yeah, the pacesetter pipes has a resonator. if u are putting on a straight through muffler, you will get a raspy sound.

I got one that looks similar to a Greddy Evo style- its straight through. By raspy do you mean like a honda high pitched sound?? if that is what you mean- if i put a resonator would that tone the sound to a deeper tone? thanks

well, i did what u are doin. i got the pacesetter 2.5", ran that for awhile, and couldnt stand the muffler. so i got a 5zigen. once i put that on, it was raspy and honduhish. i bought a cherrybombglasspack resonator for 20 bux at checker auto and had it welded in.

my muff sounds really nice now, low pitched, and at idle it sounds nice too.

cutting the pace resonator out, and putting in a better resonator will drop the raspyness noises, and get u what u want.

i didnt measure the piping before i got the glasspack, and i got the 29" one. it was a little long, and we had to trip off the ends.

it stretches from about 2 or 3 inches behind the second 02 sensor all the way to the hanger before the bend that leads to the rear axle.

buying the resonator and gettin it welded on was deffinately worth it.

i'm glad you posted that about your resonator. i was planning on getting a dynomax straight through muffler, and didn't want to sound like a gazoo

Try the dynomax with the pacesetter resonator first. dynomax mnufflers aren't loud/high pitch like the typical no name polished drager/racing muffler at Rice-R-US (no disrespect to anyone who has one).

there's a honda out here that sounds like that...i swear you can hear him up to 10 miles away. anyway, thanks for the info on the resonators, and i'll give that a try as soon as i can get my front end on my car fixed, and the money to get the muffler and work done on it
