Here are some updated pics of my engine. For those of you that remember reading I had to take it out because I spun the number 1 rod bearing and it needed a crankshaft.

http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=4&topic_id=85327&mode=full

Here is the after pictures with my new digicam and the engine back in place.

Let me know what you think.

Looks good. I'm curious to see how well the paint will hold up on the plastic rad fans. Did you prime them first?

Yes I did. I was looking for a set of those Flex a lite fans but they only make them for the Turbo models, so I just painted them. I am anxious to see that as well.

Nicely done. While you're all at it, you could do a write up or two for the wiki. Maybe on how you prepped/painted the fan shrouds. That looks really nice. emoji

Kudos for the 14" swirlies. Put the money under the hood first, imo. emoji

Thanks man! I know how you feel about putting the money under the hood first! I will have to see if I can write something up.

I have FAL fans on my GS you just have to take the turbo one and modify the shroud for the upper radiator hose spout location.
