#102104, "DEAD ELECTRICAL"

Hey everyone I gave some random guy in the street a jump and now my car wont start on its own. When he turned the key my lights flickered, I want to know did i kill my alternator or battery. Whenever I give it a jump it works find and drives but it wont start on its own. Any help would be appreciated because this is my daily driver.

Also if i did kill my alternator or battery I will relocate it tommorow to the back.

OLD AS OLD CAN BE I THINK AND IT LOOKS IN BAD SHAPE, BUT STILL SHOULD'NT THE ALTERNATOR CHARGE IT I HOP IT IS AS EASY AS CHANGING THE BATTERY, BUT WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS

You can try to clean off the terminals with a wire brush and some baking soda, but you probably want to go get a new battery, I had a cheap Autozone one that was about four years old and it died on me, Replaced it with a optima. If you continue to run around with a battery thats on the verge of dying you could get stuck somewhere, and its winter, so I wouldn't like to see anyone get stuck in the snow!

You could pull the battery out and bring it to AutoZone and let them tell you if it is bad or not. Also, please stop with the caps. It's kind of annoying.
