I am planning on Doing the JEEP TB MOD but I want to match the Intake Manifold to the Jeep TB Opening. How far can I bore out the INTAKE MANIFOLD before I run into problems ... emoji

you can bore the stock intake mani to 60mm, no prob.

Project 2.4/Big ass turbo now underway....

As far as I know no you cant just bore the intake mani to 60 mm without having to add material to the bottle necked portion of it. There was a thread similar to this a month or so ago where a guy took his to a shop to have bored to 60 and the shop owner told him he couldnt do it. The bottleneck portion of the manifold is why. I believe 57 is about the largest you can go before you have to add material.

I was talking to some 2gnt owners and they said that you can take it to 57 then you will have problems but I always like getting lots of opinions

I turns out I didn't read down far enough to see that the guy who posted that was proven wrong. You will have to add a few millimeters of material to get a 60mm bore.

Boy is my face red. Sorry bro...

Idealy All you need in a 1996cc Engine is a 55mm TB , unless you have a nice power adder
