hey im planning on rebuilding my engine, and when i do that i want to change everything i can when the engine is out so, heres my question: i have heard that the transmision from a nean is better than the one i have, is this true? and if yes, does it fit my car, and does it have to be a manual transmission to fit? and if it doesnt fit, which brand is good for transmissions for our cars?
thanks

01+ Neon tranny's are better because they have better gear ratio's.

Try using the Search function to better help answer your question, this topic has been covered many times in the past.

Neon trannys are good if you are going turbo because they have taller gears. If you are going to stay na and not go fi then I would just keep the 350. Just my opinion.
