I was looking online for stuff for my car when I saw a "POWER CHIP" on ebay. This power chip is a resistor that plugs up with the IAT. Is this worth the money the site says that there is a noticable gain and power is made upwards of 15 horsepower please let me know thanks and as always god bless ...

All it does is fool the ECU into thinking the air coming into the motor is super cold. You can buy your own resistor from ratshack for like $0.10, and it's still probably not worth the effort.

I gotta come clean, I couldn't help myself and my curiousity took me over. I tried the resistor thing. I HAD to play guinea pig. It did pretty much nothing noticeable on stock internals with UDP and header (I think that's all I had at the time).
Suffice it to say, don't get it.
