#101853, "crank sensor broke inside of block, need help!!!"
so i went to replace a few sensors today, including the crank, since i never have before, took the bolt out, but the sensor wouldnt come out, so i tried prying it out, and it finally came, but the whole rod is still inside the block while the sensor part broke off, how in the hell am i going to get it out of there?!?!?!
the bad thing is, the sensor that i got, from a fellow 2gnt'er, isnt the right one, so i cant even use it... ugh, why is it that the littlest freakin projects turns into a whole day affair...

If your talking about from autozone, you dont need the connector harness. You need a new crank sensor and you need to drop the pan to get that opne out that broke.

i already have a 97+ sensor, i had to buy the connector tho, since im a 96. the broken part is still inside, and i tried pushing it in, and it moved a little bit, but it stopped, so im hoping its hitting something so i can drill into it, and put a screw or bolt, or maybe an easy out into it, and just pull it out like it was supposed to do in the first place

Its is probably hitting the crankshaft, and I sure as hell wouldnt be drilling anywhere near it, nor the block itself.
Take the damn oil pan off, punch the fucker through, put your oil pan back on, and put in a new sensor.

OR, i could just use a pair or plyers, grab on to the little piece of plastic that i grabbed on to, and just pull it out, sure as hell seemed easier than dropping the pan, you people and your extensive ideas, i prefer the easy route, and the fact that my car runs again must mean i did something right ^_^

Congrats. Please follow through with this post after about 200-300 miles of driving to make sure that the problem was actually solved and not just the ECU being reset.
