#10178, "Spiralmax??"

My question is does it work?? My friend has it on his Civic (ya i know they suck!) and he says he deffinately noticed an increase in power and MPG. The web site is www.spiralmax.com....if anybody wants to look at it. Anybody on here have one? Its fairly inexpensive....soo if it works then i might want to get one. So any info. will be helpful! Thanks

SCC did an article on that thing and NO it doesnt work. I personally dont see how placing a restrictive object in your intake is supposed to make power anyway

Same opinion here. Turbulence in the combustion chamber can speed up combustion. You would have to have some sort of turbulence creating item right in the intake manifold runner or head. Putting it before the throttle body (SpiralMax) isn't going to do anything. Save your money.
