i redid my top end/ timing, no now spark.star.. searching i found that the dowel pins should be 1 up 1 down, which one is up which is down at TDC..


i guess i did my timign wrong, i have both dowels down.. its perfect, just both pins down , did i mess ne thing up..? comp was ~70 ....

You got low compression because all your valves are partially open at the same time like that. One up. One down.

intake is down, exhaust is up, also just checked to make sure too, with the old cams and gears i have lying around

I don't know shit from these pins, but I know a search would be helpful. I recall seeing people discuss this before. Even so, take your stock gears and see how they go on. I don't think it should really matter, so long as one is up and the other is down, but if you can see the stock exhaust gear reading "2.0L front" correctly, then make the intake cam the opposite.
