#100744, "nocking noise from engine..please help"

Car ran like a champ, no problems, no signs, no lights came on, got my oil changed about 1600 miles ago, on time. Its making a nocking noise, it gets louder and faster the the rpm get going. It starts the noise when the car turns on and after 2k rpm. No smoking from the engine are exhaust, no leaking, not really nocking when im just sitting in idle. It seems to be coming from the top if the head, any suggestions?

Is it a knock or a tick?

Ticking could be a lifter, knocking could be rod/main bearings.

Have you checked your oil level lately?

I want to say its more then a nock then a tick, seems to be under the head. Yes the oil is at its normal level, was changed 1500 miles ago

Have you taken any long right hand turns while givin'er.

Thats the easiest way to stop oil from being picked up by the pickup in the oilpan. Hence no oil on rod bearings. Hence the knocking.
